Terms of Service

These terms set out the rules for renting scooters offered by Comodo Rent. Placing a booking or picking up a scooter means accepting the conditions below.

1. General provisions

The lessor is IT Therapy Sebastian Wojtyś, ul. Gaik 9A, 28-100 Busko-Zdrój, NIP: 9452301756. The lessee is the person entering into the scooter rental agreement.

2. Rental conditions

50cc scooters may be driven by people born before 18.01.1995 without a driving licence, or by people holding a category AM, A or B licence. 125cc scooters require a category A, AM or B licence. An ID document is required to pick up a 50cc scooter.

3. Deposit and payments

A refundable deposit of 300 zł is collected at rental. The deposit is returned at the end of the rental once a working scooter is returned. Rental rates are: 70 zł per day, 200 zł per week, 700 zł per month.

4. Service care

Full service care is included in the rental price. In case of a breakdown we swap the scooter for another one, after a collision we deliver a replacement vehicle, and wear-and-tear repairs (filters, tyres, brake pads) are carried out at our own cost.

5. Service exclusions

Service does not cover damage resulting from the user's evident fault or gross negligence. The lessee is charged for the cost of such damage.

6. Lessee obligations

The lessee undertakes to use the scooter in accordance with road traffic regulations and its intended purpose, to take care of the vehicle and to report any faults and traffic incidents without delay.

7. Fines, speed cameras and penalties

The lessee bears full responsibility for all fines, penalties and charges incurred during the rental period, including speed camera fines and improper parking charges. If the lessor receives a notice concerning an offence committed during the rental period, the lessor will provide the authority with the lessee's details as the person driving the vehicle. If the lessor is charged with a fine or penalty for the lessee's offence, the lessee is obliged to reimburse the lessor the full amount together with administrative costs. In the event of non-payment within the set deadline, the lessor reserves the right to pursue the debt in court, which may involve additional proceedings costs borne by the lessee.

8. Invoices

On request we issue full VAT invoices. The scooter rental cost may be counted as a tax-deductible expense in accordance with applicable regulations.

9. Final provisions

In matters not covered by these terms, the provisions of the Civil Code apply. The parties will seek to resolve any disputes amicably.
